Please pray for my daughter, Aquila. Her fiancé, Todd, and my two granddaughters Layla and Bethanie. My daughter and granddaughters are living with Todd. Todd has an evil influence on all of them. He’s a hardworking guy and takes care of them but, he is not walking in the Lord or following Jesus. Please pray with me for all of them for their salvation and that the Lord gives them the desire to come to repentance. Thankfully I’m still a part of their lives but I see them very little. Praise Reports
I would like to share a praise report about my husband. After he suffered a stroke back in October, we didn’t know what our future would look like. Many years ago, he was called by God to preach the Gospel, and that hasn’t changed. Yesterday, he stood behind the pulpit for the first time since the stroke. Things are different because he lost all of his peripheral vision, which makes any reading very difficult for him. He can no longer drive and most likely, won’t ever drive again. He has weakness and a numb/cold feeling on his right side and he has trouble with his short-term memory. We are quickly approaching the 6-month mark post-stroke. The doctors have told us if his function is going to improve, it will be in the first six months. God is so good, and although things aren’t perfect, we know it could’ve been so much worse.

Please pray for God to grant me guidance and wisdom when it comes to ending a friendship. I have never been the one to end a friendship before, so this is very new to me. I have been trying so hard to make amends with a friend and correct my mistakes. I have reached out to her and let her know that I still care about her and her family, but nothing seems to be working. Almost every time I see her at church, she avoids me, and I have to force conversations. I feel like I have to walk on eggshells to avoid saying or doing the wrong thing when I am around her. I go to church with her, and I do not want to create a situation in which they get mad and leave the church. I am not trying to run anybody off. I just think I have exhausted all of my resources trying to make a one-sided friendship work, and maybe God is trying to remove this person from my life. It’s a very hard pill to swallow.
