REGIONAL ENGINEER
TCT Network’s commitment to exceptional programming and viewer satisfaction begins and ends with our staff and we’re looking for a dedicated Regional Engineer to add to our Broadcast Engineering team. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or related technical field preferred.
- Society of Broadcast Engineers Certification preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successful candidate must be a multi-tasker with substantial broadcast engineering experience, as well as a working knowledge of IT systems and the advanced broadcast technologies of a digital television station.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and repair component level electronics as related to the operation of television transmission, studio, and control systems.
- Organizational skills sufficient for timely filing of required reports, scheduling of preventative maintenance, and general coverage of required activities of the Engineering Department.
- Must be available on an on-call basis for emergency situations.
- Must be able to travel, bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds as well as climb ladders and utilize step stools to maintain equipment.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a sufficiently clean MVR to be authorized to operate company vehicles as required by our insurance carrier.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and maintain full compliance with all pertinent F.C.C. rules dealing with technical operations of broadcast television stations and their associated sub-systems.
- Maintain station technical files, records, logs, licenses, permits, authorizations or other required documentation.
- The training of all transmitter operations personnel to a skill level which renders those employees knowledgeable and capable of performing their duties in full compliance with F.C.C. rules prior to assuming their responsibilities.
- Maintain all transmission and studio facilities in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
- Maintain 24 hour “on-call” availability with station personnel and others who may be able to render assistance. Responsible for arranging a competent alternate staff member as a back-up during sick days, vacation, and other approved absences.
- Responsible for assisting the Engineering Department in its role of researching and recommending for purchase capital and non-capital items needed for the proper operation of network technical facilities under direct supervision of the VP of Engineering and Great Lakes Regional Engineer.
- Responsible for any other duties assigned by the V.P. of Engineering.
Reporting Relationships:
- Reports directly to V.P. of Engineering.
- Reports indirectly to the Great Lakes Regional Engineer in the area of organization, technical policy and project management.
- Technical performance and skills are evaluated by V.P. of Engineering, who advises the President and Station Managers where appropriate.
PARTNER RELATIONS ASSISTANT
Does working in a Christian ministry appeal to you? The TCT Network Headquarters, located in Marion, Illinois, is looking for the right person to add to our Partner Relations Department. This department is the starting point for TCT Network viewers. Viewers write, email or call when they need help with network related questions or when they need prayer. This full-time position requires someone who is familiar with computers, email and Office 365 related software and programs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Strong familiarity with the Bible and time-management are also strengths the right candidate will possess. TCT Network in an EOE.
Qualifications:
- Experience utilizing Office 365 programs such as Word and Excel along with familiarity with email, web-based platforms and databases.
- Proven gift of writing – knowledge of proper grammar and punctuation rules a must.
- Ability to establish time management strategies and present strong organizational skills.
- A professional, proactive and integrity driven work ethic.
- Proven experience in communications, both verbal and written.
- Must have a heart for ministry and the ability to professionally and comfortably interact with viewers.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic office skills such as operation of office equipment and filing.
- Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively with other departments.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency within a deadline oriented fast paced environment and juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to create and maintain documents, reports and proposals.
- Can easily navigate email and the ability to learn web-based software and databases.
- Ability to work with viewers and co-workers, both within the Partner Relations Department and within other departments, in a positive and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for learning the process that involves addressing and responding to written correspondence, email, prayer board submissions and prayer/information calls as needed.
- Will need to become proficient in the proper record keeping of the department,
- Responsible for adhering to our response protocols and for not being involved in any counseling activities with viewers.
- Must become proficient with the way in which the ministry addresses incoming requests for prayer, questions and requests for information/products and for proper record keeping of these requests.
- Responsible for distributing materials to those who call the TCT Network Prayer Line and receive salvation or rededicate their lives to the Lord.
- The ability to acquire the knowledge of the responsibilities of all departments and staff members so that information can be gathered about a particular need.
- The maintaining of a manner consistent with the high moral and ethical standards of the ministry.
- Responsible for any other duties as assigned by the Partner Relations Manager.
OFFICE MANAGER
TCT Network is seeking an Office Manager. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, and is located at Radiant Life Ministries in Akron, Ohio.
The right candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must be organized, with quality time management skills and the knowledge and ability to execute best practices in an office setting. Knowledge of Microsoft Office paired with a professional, proactive and integrity driven work ethic is a must. Prior office management experience in broadcast/communications, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the spiritual and general oversight, management, maintenance and operation of the office.
- Hiring, training, evaluation and dismissal of employees.
- The liaison with local and regional ministries and with companies and all others interacting with the ministry.
- Responsible for keeping the station legal, presentable and effective.
- The maintaining of a manner consistent with the high moral and ethical standards of the ministry.
- Excellent business ethics and integrity consistent with biblical standards.
- Establishing personal and devotional habits in harmony with the stated policy of the ministry.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating all areas of office management in a thorough manner.
- Researching all areas of station responsibility from both the objectives to be realized and needs that exist, including technical and professional resources.
- Responsible for developing a thorough understanding of the ministry policies and procedures.
- Promptly and accurately completing all reports to record keeping departments and agencies and for filing of same.
- Maintenance compliance with EEO, OSHA and city, state and federal regulatory agencies.
- Responsible for being the on-site public relations representative for the ministry.
- Active participation in community organizations, churches, religious groups and all pastor interactions.
- The oversight of the maintenance of the overall business appearance, organization and general housekeeping needs of the office so as to present the best possible image of the ministry to the public and guests.
- Responsible for any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
RECEPTIONIST
The TCT Network Headquarters, located in Marion, Illinois, is looking for a Receptionist. This is a 25 hour per week, part-time position and requires someone with a cheerful disposition and helpful spirit. Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and Office 365 related programs is preferred. Dependability and flexibility is a must. TCT Network is an EOE.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems.
- Microsoft Office and computer operation.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen and speak articulately.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other departments/staff.
- The ability to multi-task while staying focused.
- Basic office skills such as operation of office equipment and filing.
- Must be able to adapt to changing situations and environments.
Responsibilities:
- Will answer each call in a timely and professional manner and direct calls to the appropriate staff.
- Take appropriate messages for an employee who is not in the building when a call comes in.
- Responsible for determining which person would be the best source of information for a caller when that caller is not sure with whom to speak.
- Will log in the mail and any UPS/Fed Ex packages each day and notifying the recipient to pick up the mail.
- Distribution of any incoming items such as deliveries or faxes as they arrive and notifying the recipient for pick up.
- Greeting visitors and determining to whom they should be directed.
- Responsible for giving job seekers an application, receiving the completed application, and notifying the Human Resources Department that the application has been submitted.
- Responsible for addressing and mailing updated list of employee, volunteer, and Prayer Partner birthdays and also for mailing the birthday cards.
- Assisting the Partner Relations Department, Contributions Department and the mail room with stuffing envelopes, attaching labels, and other various mailing needs
- Assisting the Executive Secretary type labels, prepare Christmas cards for mailing, or any other help needed.
- Responsible for any other duties assigned by the Station Manager.
