The Adventures Of Ozzie and Harriet was one of the longest-running and most-loved family situation comedies on television. It began as a radio series in 1944 and segued into a prime time television series in 1952. The Nelsons were a real-life family and Ozzie and Harriet, along with their sons, Ricky and David, were playing themselves, giving the show genuine impact.
