Three Significant Words
Do you recall the story of Jesus feeding the throng of 5,000 people with nothing more than the lunch of a young boy? In the verse that describes this miracle, there are three words which are significant to all of us, even today. The words are “blessed”, “broke", and “gave”.
When God’s blessing is resting on your life, everything is possible—abundance, healing, favor, and so much more. We are to be broken vessels, devoid of pride, and ready to be used by the Lord. Jesus is our ultimate example. At the Last Supper, “He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me” (Luke 22:19).
The Lord prepares us to be given—to take our blessed, broken lives, and use us to multiply the message of the Gospel to a hungry world.
